Karibik in Cologne

Unfortunately, we didn't like the to-go meal (fried noodles with meat) at all. The food only tasted like flavor enhancers and unfortunately the meat was also pretty bad quality. I only award the star for the delicious Mai Thai Cocktail - also to go.

Great ambience. Authentic but small dishes. I would go again.

We didn't have to wait long for the dish and our drinks. That was great, because we were really hungry that evening. This restaurant really has the potential to become my next hangout. The waiters are always particularly amiable and extremely friendly. This gives us a lot of pleasure every time we visit. My husband and I find the place to be contemporary for all kinds of events, irrespective of whether with friends or family.

Food, really tasty, although not very expressive for Thai flavors. I recommend the drinks, really good and made with heart. I've been there more than once. A very big dissatisfaction was left with one lady from the service (a heavier lady). For 7 people we only got 1 card and when we asked for the rest of the cards these were thrown over the shoulder of one person onto the table. The lady was rude, I think she forgot to give our order to the kitchen, because we waited 2 hours for salad and soup. After an hour we asked what she only said about our order that there are a lot of people and we have to wait. She only brought knives and forks to the soup. When asked for spoons, she stated that she only had one, and we waited another 5 minutes for the others. Another service gentleman was more interested in the fact that we had not received our order (after 1.5 hours) than the waitress who served us. I will definitely come back there as the food and drinks are really tasty and they look appetizing. I hope to have only positive impressions on my next visit.

Cocktail tasted like water

Very tasty fresh food, quick service ... What I don't understand is the concept of the restaurant. It's called the Caribbean, serves Thai food with Polynesian influences and offers some steaks ... You can call it a flexible concept, but you don't see a clear line here

Good Thai food and cocktails. The duck was really tasty but I can recommend the rest of the food also. Nice view and fast service

You can't call it a curry here, vegetables weren't done, duck was quite good, but the rice was really tasty !;)

Special cocktails in big bowls

I would love to give minus points. Frozen food and the meat reminded me of my belt. Sorry but food should taste good. I'm not a fie. Have let it go back. Never again!!!

For the location and the good food, the Caribbean is amazingly good value for money. And finally a Thai who is not afraid that the German food might be too spicy.

Regular bar for cocktails. Food is delicious. Service is quick and the staff is nice.

Here you can eat very good Thai and I did not want to believe it before a great rump steak.

Delicious Thai food Original taste Service nice

Had chicken satay and green curry with fried duck. The chicken satay was tasty. The green curry wasn’t on the menu. It’s a recommendation from a friend. If you want to try it out, you can just tell the server that you want green curry instead of the red curry on the menu. It’s not spicy but quite sweet for me. Personally I didn’t like it so much. I prefer to have more strong aromatic curry flavor instead of coconut milk. But the fried duck was tasty and the amounts of duck were a lot (or at least more than enough for me.) Btw, we like to call the restaurant „zombie bar“ because their zombie cocktail is very strong and my boyfriend and his friends like it a lot.

I went to eat with 4 friends. Despite the house being full, the service was very friendly. The food was brisk and tasted great. The delicious cocktails afterwards rounded off a nice evening.

I had only been drinking cocktails here for 30 years. Ate here for the first time today and I was very pleased. It tasted very good to me and my friends. Everything was nicely arranged and served by a friendly waitress. All this was ok in corona times. Then we had to have a round of cocktails??

The staff worked swiftly, cleanly and in a friendly manner, most of which tasted delicious. The portions are an appealing and filling dimension, the tables from the restaurant have been cleaned properly and the armchairs were extremely comfortable. I can really recommend this restaurant!

It was just perfect. We were here for the fourth time and always very delicious. The dish 47 perfect. The cocktails were very, very tasty.

Cocktail was nice, service for food a bit slow. We were sitting outside and they forgot to return to us to take our order.

Good place to eat real Thai food.

Me and ma friend visited this restaurant for first time. Our noodles were so tasty ? i would say they tasted so thai and yummy ever :) we really loved it and also staffs were so friendly ☺️☺️

Great duck

Visiting from the UK the food did not do justice to any Thai restaurant in the UK. Mixed starter very greasy the dip was tasteless noodles over cooked again very greasy vegetables tasteless poor wine selection. Service adequate would not recommend for anyone who understands and appreciates great Thai cooking.

Poor service, avreage food. Generally disappointment. It used to be a great place (I'd visited them several times in the past), but my recent visit was probably the last one. Long waiting time, mistake in order, and the food that was barely edible. Sad.

We ate here for my Birthday during our trip to Cologne & yes we booked so when the waiter tried to push us away the management soon sorted him out. After that the food was great & well priced no prob shearing starters which were big. Wine is best price in the area (why do all the local restraunt over price ?) It was our best meal of the week ?

Didn't eat here, just called in for drinks each day of our stay in Cologne but found the staff very friendly and the Beer was excellent at a good price. We sat outside each day and there is blankets on each chair if you get a little cold and also heat lamps under the awnings.

Food is very average

Gave 1 star because there is no 0 star. THE WAITER WAS SO RUDE TO US ! BAD SERVICE ! IGNORED CUSTOMERS ! NO PATIENCE TO US ! When we requested for 2 plates he replied us very rudely ;) hehe will nvr come again hehe :))))))))))

Had the worst restaurant experience ever. The waiter was so rude that we had to walk out before the food came. We arrive shortly before the end of the permissible time for the lunch menu. Firstly he refused that we order from the lunch menu even though there was 30 minutes left within the permissible time. We then ordered from the "normal" menu. We asked him to repeat the order as we had ordered quite a bit and there was some language issues as we don't speak good German and he just refused. When we asked him when he would take the drinks order he just started shouting at us. Not sure if this was a racial issue as we were all Africans or the waiter is just a horrible human being. We simply refused to be treated in that manner as we were paying customers and felt really disrespected, so we walked out and went to another Thai restaurant close to Heumarkt where we had the most pleasant experience.

Enjoy real Thai food in the old city of Koeln.

Very delicious, authentic and also very attentive and friendly staff. We were twice on site and always found a table. As with all restaurants here, there is always sound from street bands, but that was actually very pleasant.

Excellent thai food

Food is great, prices are reasonable, the only downside was the waiter, not too polite, he seemed impatient and grumpy.
